An Announcement from the Board of reFocus Today
It is with heavy hearts, yet great hope, that the Board of reFocus Today shares an important announcement regarding the future of this ministry.
The passing of our beloved Betsy has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her faith, compassion, vision, and unwavering commitment to reFocus Today touched countless lives. While we continue to grieve her loss, we are also grateful for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Betsy had a deep desire to see the ministry of reFocus Today continue, and in keeping with that desire, the Board has unanimously approved and wholeheartedly welcomed David Jones as President of reFocus Today Ministry.
David understands the heart and mission of reFocus and is committed to carrying this ministry forward while honoring Betsy’s vision. He will serve with his wife, Liz, as they prayerfully seek God’s direction for this next chapter.
Moving forward does not mean moving on from Betsy. It means carrying forward the faith, vision, and purpose she held so dearly. Her legacy will remain an important part of the foundation of reFocus Today.
As we step into this new season, we are reminded of God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
We believe God has a plan and purpose for reFocus Today, and we look ahead with great anticipation of what God will do. We ask our reFocus family, friends, supporters, and ministry partners to join us in praying for David and Liz as they step into this new season of leadership.

reFocus Today Ministry is a Christ-Centered organization built upon Faith, Encouragement and Servanthood. Through our programs and efforts, reFocus Today is actively supporting local law enforcement and the communities they serve. We provide crisis management, pastoral care, hospital visitation, funeral services and family counseling. In addition, we also perform wedding ceremonies.
